A native speaker of both English and German, Suzanne has studied, lived and worked in Germany and America, and has prepared texts for publication in museums on both sides of the Atlantic. Her carefully polished translations of art-,history-,philosophy- and literature texts reflect Ms. Zuber's extensive experience with the research and writing conventions of the arts and humanities in both countries. The goal is to create a text that maintains the individual 'tone' or 'tenor' of the original, without the awkwardness that so often obscures translations. Suzanne's translations and edited texts are smooth and enjoyable to read while reflecting the current academic art historical discourse of the respective country. 

 

Texts are delivered on time and are discussed closely with the author, from the preferred approach (literal vs. free translation), to a final round of close editing.
